The individual were arrested in their home at 5am without earlier notice or arrest warrant. No charges were laid.

The house in located in the Mashro’’ Dumar district, block 3, building 2, floor 7, in Damascus.

Dr. Omar is a human rights activist who has defended human rights in Syria. He is a dentist and is studying in a private university and is working toward a PhD in dentistry.

The activist is a member of the Syrian Network for Human Rights and is a Syrian citizen. No organization, whether Arab or international, has taken any measures to ensure his safety.
