“There was a clash in Tal Aran between the armed rebels and a queue of regime forces coming from defense factories. The warplanes started the bombardment using cluster bombs on Tal Aran and Tal Hasel. The shelling lasted from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It was directed against civilians’ houses away from Free Army presence. This is what the Syrian regime has been always used to. It attacks the civilians who support the revolution. Many were injured, about 20 wounded were rushed to Tal Aran Hospital”
SNHR’s team was able to document the death of nine citizens, but the survivors told us that there were a number of dead bodies that they saw them but couldn’t identify. It is estimated that there are more 10 dead bodies. Additionally, there were 21 injured persons. No members of SNHR or media activists were able to enter the village as it is controlled by government forces and Al Shabiha.
