the poisoning

On Tuesday 9 September, 2014, the Syrian regime has cut off completely the water in Al-Yarmouk camp and some other areas in At-Tamadmoun neighborhood in Damascus. Since then, the residents tried, with the help of some humanitarian organizations, to get drinking water from artesian wells which is very risky since this water is not safe to drink.
Some of the residents tried to obtain water from other near areas which put them under the risk of being killed by the snipers who are surrounding the area.
Furthermore, the Syrian regime cut off the water in Al-Hajar Al-Asswad neighborhood. SNHR issued a distress call about this horrible crime on 14 September, 2014. The water has been cut off ever since.
