College Student Abdul Al Nasser Mahmoud Enforced to Disappear since 2013

SNHR briefed the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary disappearances, of the case of college student Abdul Nasser Mahmoud from Al Baath neighborhood in Hama city, age 20 at the time, and asked to request of the Syrian authorities to release him, as he was arrested arbitrarily at Ein Al Lawza neighborhood checkpoint by members of military security of the government forces in March 28, 2013, he was seen in military security general administration in Kafr Sousa neighborhood in Damascus city in June 12, 2013, since then his fate remain unknown for his family and the Syrian Network for Human Rights as well.

Syrian authorities deny enforcing college student Abdul Al Nasser Mahmoud to disappear, SNHR were unable to determine his fate until now, as is his family, and they are afraid of detention and torture in the event of repeating questions about him, as happened with many similar cases.
