Istanbul: Convened by the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, Fadel Abdul Ghany, SNHR chairman, conducted a presentation for several political members in armed opposition groups.
The presentation included an explanation about the most notable rules of the customary humanitarian law and practical examples about the Syrian situation. After the end of the presentation, questions and debates were raised about these rules. A number of armed opposition groups expressed their willingness to sign a commitment to the international war convention and conveyed their readiness to attend an extensive workshop about the IHL rules.
