SNHR briefed the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary disappearances, of the case of the citizen Hani Abd Al Aal from Mahambal town in the suburb of Idlib governorate, age 34 at the time of his arrest, and asked to request of the Syrian authorities to release him, as he was arrested arbitrarily on 15 July 2012, as he was passing a checkpoint of the government forces in Jericho city. The members of the checkpoint took the citizen Hani Abd Al Aal to the political security branch in Idlib city. He was seen in Sednaya military prison that located in Sednaya city in Damascus suburb governorate in the early 2014. His family are unable to have any information to determine his fate or his detention center after that date , since then his fate remain unknown for his family and the Syrian Network for Human Rights as well.
