SNHR briefed the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary disappearances, of the case of the child Adnan Al Imam from Al Mujtahed neighborhood in Damascus city, age 14 at the time of his arrest, and asked to request of the Syrian authorities to release him as he was arrested arbitrarily on 1 August 2013, when the state security forces related to government forces stormed his residence in Al Mujtahed neighborhood in Damascus city and took him to the state security 251 branch which is called Al Khateeb Branch and located in Baghdad street in Al Khateeb area in Damascus city where he was seen last time on 5 January 2014. Then, he was taken to an unknown place. His family had no information to determine his fate or whereabouts after that date, since then his fate remain unknown for his family and the Syrian Network for Human Rights as well.
