Mahran Sameer al Aswad

The Syrian Network for Human Rights informed the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the extrajudicial killing of the case of the citizen Mahran al Aswad, from al Karak neighborhood in Daraa city, born in 1982, as his family confirmed on September 6, 2016, his death due to torture in a detention center affiliated to Syrian regime as they were given a death certificate from Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus indicates that he died on January 3, 2015.

The Syrian Authorities didn’t admit to killing the citizen Mahran al Aswad, and his family couldn’t submit a complaint as they live in an area out of Syrian regime control and the victim is a retired employee from a government institute which is affiliated to Syrian regime.
SNHR confirmed its fear of the killing of civilians from the year 2011, and the victims’ numbers are continuously rising.
