The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is glad to announce that its executive director and founder Mr. Fadel Abdulghany, has been appointed as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in North Africa. Over the years, Mr. Abdulghany has been known for his professionalism in documentation and advocacy work, and his constructive criticism for public policies, that are related to human rights and justice, in Syria.

As Mr. Abdulghany undertake this role, SNHR stresses that it will continue its work as an independent organization, documenting violations of human rights, building databases, producing reports and investigations, and supporting international accountability mechanisms as well as national ones. SNHR will continue its partnerships and projects with the relative UN bodies, and friendly governments, as well as research centers and universities, in an effort to amplify the effects in favor of the victims and their unalienable rights.
