Damascus, July 2026: The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) received at its office in Damascus Mr. Claudio Cordone, the Deputy Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Syria, where he met with Fadel Abdulghany, the Executive Director of SNHR. The meeting also included members from both teams.

The meeting addressed the human rights situation in Syria and the challenges associated with the path of the transitional phase, including the ongoing trials within the path of transitional justice.
