Emad Aton

The Syrian Network for Human Rights informed the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the extrajudicial killing on the case of the citizen Emad Aton, from Talbisa city in Homs governorate, born in 1982, who was killed in Syrian regime artillery fired shells on Talbisa city, which is under the control of armed opposition factions, on July 24, 2013.

The Syrian Authorities didn’t admit to killing the citizen Emad Aton, and his family couldn’t submit a complaint out of fear of security pursuit as they live in an area out of Syrian regime forces’ control.
SNHR confirmed its fear of the killing of civilians from the year 2011, and the victims’ numbers are continuously rising.
