At 6:00 PM, Syrian army helicopters launched a fierce attack on al Habeit town, near Khan Sheikhoun city, 77 kilometers from the center of Idlib governorate. Helicopters used massive bombs, according to local people and activists who we spoke with; we also obtained information on the attack from victims’ families and those injured in the attack. The bombing targeted residential buildings, killing 13 people, including 10 children, during the first minutes of the attack. This indicates the deliberate, indiscriminate and systematic targeting of civilians. In addition, at least 35 other people were injured. The family of Ali Izzo was completely wiped out because the bombs fell on their home.
